-         There is NO PRE RUN FOR THIS RACE.

-         GPS Downloads will be available a week prior to race, there will be one available for FREE, courteous of PCI  with General Course Map and separate Course Notes.  There will also be one available for purchase from PCI with Course Map and full Course Notes with Icons.

6 - 8 PM : TORR (TOTALLY OFF-ROAD RADIO) LIVE WEB TV AND RADIO POSITION DRAW PARTY - EL CORTEZ HOTEL AND CASINO
Hosted by the El Cortez Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas. Open to the public. Come party with the Las Vegas TORR girls!

WED 03/24/10:

5 PM - 9 PM:  TORR (TOTALLY OFF-ROAD RADIO) & WEB TV SHOW/KICK OFF PARTY - Hussong's Cantina, Mandalay Bay

THUR 03/25/10:

6 PM -  8 PM:  Fremont Street East - GENERAL TIRE MINT 400 FANFEST/MEET & GREET

We will be kicking off the street party and FanFest for the 2010 General Tire MINT 400 with food, drinks, race vehicle displays, and more!!  Team owners are invited and encouraged (all classes) to participate in this fabulous opportunity.  Please make arrangements with me to have your vehicle and team showcased at this event for the fans and media to enjoy.  Bring a table, hero cards, posters, team swag - and of course, autograph utensils.  We encourage you to dress in your team attire as well.  This is a great opportunity for major exposure for your team!!  Vendors are also encouraged to open for this event, as there will be throngs of public and fans attending.  TORR (Totally Off-Road Radio) will also be covering this event live both on Web TV and radio via the internet!  Please contact me if you wish to participate in this portion of the event.  Hope to see you there!  NOTE:  Load-in time for participants is 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

8:30 PM – MIDNIGHT: GOLDEN NUGGET SPONSORED GENERAL TIRE MINT QUEEN CROWNING PARTY

The 80’s themed General Tire Mint 400 kick-off party will be at Gold Diggers inside the Golden Nugget, as well as outside on the Fremont Street Experience.  Come witness the crowning of the 2010 General Tire Mint 400 Queen and her court on the 1st Street stage under the Fremont Experience Canopy at 8:30 pm!  Dance to 80’s music!  Wear your best 80s garb and win fabulous prizes from General Tire!  All costumes will be judged!

7:00 AM Qualifying for Unlimited Trucks and Class 1’s.  Location: Pabco Road, Old SNORE 250 S/F

8:30 AM - 5:00 PM DRIVER SIGN UP/REGISTRATION
El Cortez Hotel and Casino, 2nd Floor.

8:30 AM –  5:15 PM STAGING & VEHICLE TRANSPORT ROUTE
9:00 AM – 5:30 PM TECH/CONTINGENCY VEHICLE INSPECTION

The staging area for Tech/Contingency VENDORS will be Fremont Street East.  Vendors and displays will be set up with 10 x 10 EZ ups scattered along Fremont Street & 1st Street through 8th Street, as well as the 3rd Street Expansion.  Trailers and large displays will be installed on Fremont East from Las Vegas Blvd to 8th Street.  Sign up/Registration hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the El Cortez Hotel and Casino.  Load-in day and time for all trailer vendors is THURS 03/25/10  11 AM TO 3:00 PM.  Load-in day and time for all EZ up/table display vendors is FRI 6:00 AM TO 8:00 AM - NO EXCEPTIONS!  Load-out time will start at 6:00 p.m., with all loading-out to be complete no later than 7:00 p.m.

SAT 03/27/10:

7:00 AM START - RACE DAY
Start/finish is located off I-15, about 25 minutes north of  Las Vegas, at the Moapa Travel Plaza, Exit 75.  There are numerous spectator areas this year - more info will be forthcoming as things are finalized.  The race has a 18-hour time limit.

SUN 03/28/10:

11:00 AM - 2010 SNORE/GENERAL TIRE MINT 400 AWARDS BANQUET
We will be hosting our Awards Ceremony Sunday at 11:00 a.m.

****** ATTENTION ******
There will be NO TOWING of race vehicles from staging to Tech along any portion of the route! Vehicles MUST drive under their own power.  There is no trailering of any race vehicles to any point along the route to be unloaded - this must occur at staging only and will be strictly enforced by Las Vegas Metro PD!  You will put your race vehicle back on the trailer in the parking lot provided at the southwest corner of Fremont Street & 8th.  As soon as you load your car, you MUST remove the vehicles from that parking lot!!!  That is ONLY FOR PICKUP/TRANSPORT OF RACE CARS AFTER TECH - not parking for the event!  If you want to hang out and enjoy the event, you MUST find another location to park your truck & trailer, such as the original staging areas.  THERE WILL BE A TOW TRUCK ON SITE AND YOUR RIG WILL BE TOWED IF NOT IMMEDIATELY REMOVED!!!
