Because of new BLM restrictions and Safety concerns the following procedures will be implemented for the 2021 and future racing seasons.
- MEDIA Permits will be distributed AFTER the BLM MEDIA and VOLUNTEER Safety briefings which usually precede the DRIVER’S Meeting.
- MEDIA Permits will be distributed only to MEDIA Personnel who attend the BLM MEDIA and VOLUNTEER Safety briefings.
- MEDIA Permits will be distributed only to MEDIA Personnel who have a VALID (photography / media) BUSINESS LISCENSE. A Business card will be enough proof of a business license.
- MEDIA Personnel must have a VALID, REGISTERED SNORE MEDIA SAFETY VEST. Anyone without a valid Media Safety Vest will not be allowed on the race course. If you already have a valid SNORE Media Safety Vest, please bring it to registration so that I can verify and record the vest number.
To avoid hassles and long, frustrating waits, please do not wait until after the BLM Media and Volunteer meetings to Register for the race. Registrations times are always posted on the SNORE website and are usually during the Driver’s Registration period.
Exceptions to Rules #1 and #2 made be made on a case by case exception, but the Media personnel may have to receive a BLM brief on Saturday before they can get their Media Permit.
